So, I’ve just updated the “New Projects” section, but I’m not seeing love =(
How about this, we may release a bonus section (250 to 500 extra words) on Sunday if we can get active discussions going on the new work. I know it’s too early to start, but I’m looking forward to it. See you guys more in the future!
[Ps. Let me know how the anchor tags work. You can check by the end of each day, Midnight EST, to see a day’s post. Some will come early, some will come late. They will all make it.]

A short blurp, about what’s it about might help.
ATM totally no clue what I’m reading…

Yeah, so far seeing a self depreciating “powerless” character who likes a sarcastic person that feels rule’s are more like guideline’s and a person that likes to drink.
By the “brother” titles I have to assume there is some type of religious/monk based order.
But no real direction yet as to what type of story or really anything other that he likes to get his pages finished early and doesn’t amount to anything… yet, if ever.
Looking forward to the next section to see where the story leads or if there is a distinguishable MC that we will be tagging along with. As of yet anyone mentioned so far or even yet another to be seen character could be taking us on our journey.

It will be around 8k words for the action to pick up
I was told I have to “world build =(**”

Uhm, who told you that?
IMHO the first few pages should get the hook into the Reader,
if it 8k words before you even try to get the Reader hooked you might lose most of them.
I mean word building, yes. But the reader must first want to know about it.

I understand your goal of world building. Though I also must say it’s hard to do in 500 word sections. If you wanted to world build I think the better choice would have been to have the “prologue” all completed and put it up all at once – i.e. 5k words to relay the world, circumstances, characters and whatever scenario our main characters backstory is. This gives the reader all the info they will need to decide if this is something to carry on with (whether the hook sets or not). Then you move to the small bites.
The small bites while much easier on the author (you) doesn’t allow for the buy in by the reader at this point. I’m sure as we get deeper into this realm we the readers will not hesitate to pester you for more content due to the fact that the work will be driving us insane to find the results to the previous posts cliffhanger.
I enjoy your work and look forward to your future content. Regardless of any criticism, you are the creative genius behind your work so you get to decide its path.
